John is one clever cookie. With 15 years’ experience at top IP firm AJ Park, John knows how to make ideas come to life. He has the connections, the skills, and the know how to take your innovative idea to market.
John specialises in managing intellectual property portfolios including preparing, prosecuting, and enforcing intellectual property rights, focusing on the biotechnology, food technologies, genomics, metabolomics, and proteomics fields. He also helps clients identify and assess risks to their business, develop and implement intellectual property strategies, and carry out due diligence.
He has the qualifications to back him up with a PhD in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Brigham Women’s Hospital in Boston.
To top off some pretty amazing qualifications, he also holds a Bachelor of Laws and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and is a Registered Patent Attorney in Australia and New Zealand.
