Based in the Hamilton office, Jared is involved in the drafting of patent specifications, as well as the preparation and prosecution of patent applications for both New Zealand and International clients. Jared also oversees James & Wells searching services for patents, trade marks and designs.

Jared has been with James & Wells since March 2004. Prior to joining James & Wells Jared worked in South Korea teaching English in 2001 and 2002, before returning to New Zealand to work at SITEL for Genesis Energy, latterly in a quality assurance role. Jared is a Registered Patent Attorney.
Jared is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys (NZIPA), a member of the Patent Information Users Group (PIUG), and a member of the Limnological Society of New Zealand.
