Simon is a lawyer and patent attorney based in our Auckland office. He heads up the commercialisation team, which draws on expertise across varied technical fields to provide a complete range of legal services for the commercialisation of intellectual property.

Simon has expertise in negotiating, drafting, reviewing and advising on a wide range of local and cross-border IP agreements.
Simon joined James & Wells in 1995. He is President of the Entrepreneurs Organisation New Zealand, and Past-President of the Licensing Executives Society of Australia and New Zealand. He is a fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys and a member of the New Zealand Law Society.
Simon regularly presents at professional conferences on intellectual property.
