Technical Adviser
Shayne is a technical adviser based in our Auckland office specialising in chemical, formulation and process technologies with expertise in a range of scientific areas including physical organic synthetic chemistry, physics, biology and biochemistry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (Hons), University of Otago (1998)
- Doctorate Degree in Chemistry, University of Canterbury (2007)
Shayne also works with mechanical inventions, including the field of lifting, reinforcing and fastening systems of concrete and cementious elements.
Shayne joined James and Wells in 2005 following his completion of an Honours Degree in Chemistry at the University of Otago and PhD at the University of Canterbury. Shayne has also completed a number of law papers in intellectual property.
Shayne is currently completing his qualifications to become a registered Patent Attorney and intends to continue his legal studies at the University of Auckland. He is a student member of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys and an affiliate member of the New Zealand Institute of Chemistry (NZIC).
