Jennifer is a patent attorney based in our Auckland Office working primarily in the area of pharmaceutical and chemical technologies. Jennifer also has experience in a number of other areas, including telecommunications, mechanical and biotechnology inventions.

Jennifer joined James and Wells in 2008 after returning from London, where she worked for a specialist IP firm and as a Patent Information Manager for a large pharmaceutical information company. Prior to this Jennifer worked as a patent examiner at IPONZ, specializing in the examination of pharmaceutical and chemical patent applications.
Jennifer’s work includes drafting patent specifications, prosecuting patent applications from examination through to grant and providing advice on infringement and validity to clients. She is also involved in the filing and prosecution of design applications in both New Zealand and Australia.
Jennifer is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys (NZIPA).
