Sarah Tallon has joined the Trade Marks team in Auckland as an Associate, specialising in all aspects of trade mark advice.

- Barrister & Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand
Sarah has extensive experience managing trade mark portfolios
for leading New Zealand companies as well as assisting small and
medium size businesses. She helps clients with the
protection, maintenance and enforcement of their brands both in New
Zealand and internationally. Sarah is particularly interested
in helping ensure clients achieve their strategic objectives on a
commercial footing as well as a legal one.
As well as filing and prosecution of trade marks,
infringement and enforcement advice for businesses Sarah also
has experience in securing, transferring and assisting with domain
name disputes.
Sarah's breadth of experience includes advising on trade mark
disputes, assisting with hearings before the Intellectual Property
Office of New Zealand and High Court, assisting with due diligence
reports and Intellectual Property audits, negotiating
co-existence agreements , and working with in-house
counsel.
Sarah is a member of the Intellectual Property
Society of Australia and New
Zealand
and
the
Auckland District Law Society
Inc.
Outside of work Sarah enjoys the company of good friends, good food
and good wine. She also fits in in running, gardening, reading,
movies and travel.
