Jason is a Registered Patent Attorney in James and Wells'
Hamilton Office.
Jason has a background in electronic engineering and specialises
in the prosecution of electrical and software patent
applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) (Hons), University of
Waikato (2006)
- Registered Patent Attorney (New Zealand)
Jason joined James and Wells in 2007, having previously gained
experience working for Sensortec, a Hamilton company providing
dairy automation and sensing solutions.
Based in our Hamilton office, Jason is a member of both the
Electronics and Software Team and the Mechanical and Physical
Technologies Team. His areas of expertise include drafting
and prosecution of patent specifications, together with providing
infringement and freedom to operate opinions, and general advice on
IP strategy and patentability issues.
