28 Nov 2011Extra (cardboard) people could be found in the James & Wells office last Friday, when a number of employees adopted a ‘Buddy’ for the day.
The buddy's were involved with day to day activities, including
attending client meetings and going out for lunch.
The 'Buddy Day' programme was designed to raise awareness for child
abuse. The campaign saw 180 life-sized cardboard children on
display around Hamilton. The cardboard cut outs represented 10% of
the 1800 child abuse cases reported in the Waikato region last
year.
The Buddy Day organisers said "We love James & Wells! You guys
took the most Buddies of any company."
