The James & Wells experience

Starting from recruitment and induction, we want your experience at James & Wells to be meaningful and enjoyable.  While you will be a positive self-starter who is keen to drive your own learning, we also want to set you up to succeed from day one. We do this through focused induction training on our systems and processes and by supporting you through the ongoing journey of learning and development.  

Our staff have numerous opportunities to meet their professional development needs through relevant and topical in-house seminars, workshops and study support.

Because we are realistic about Auckland traffic, raising families and outside interests, we offer flexibility with working arrangements in balance with meeting our clients and business needs. And because birthdays are fun and should be celebrated with the people most important to you, we give you a day off to make it memorable.

We all get together once a year to get to know the Firm a bit better in a relaxed environment.  It’s called an AGM but it’s less corporate and more enjoyable than you would expect.
